Business Development Manager – Full Time Gloucestershire based role  

Do you enjoy identifying new business opportunities? Want to be a pivotal person in an ambitious growth plan? Able to demonstrate previous success selling to vertical markets that trade over £20 million annual turnover, and/or employ 200+ staff?

We are looking for intelligent and experienced individuals to join our growing sales team. If you meet the above criteria and are an independent, dynamic and experienced solutions sales person looking for a change we want to hear from you.

Can you;

  • Uncover substantial mid-market to corporate level opportunities
  • Increase Bamboo’s market share across the UK by acquiring new business
  • Identify requirements for IoT, unified communications, fixed, mobile, cloud and hosting propositions.
  • Consistently exceed monthly volume & revenue targets, by creating a healthy mix of profitable pipeline through tactical and strategic opportunity generation

Your natural preference will be to work collaboratively across the business. Aiming to move away from transactional business you will be well equipped to change the conversation to supporting our customers long term digital and tech strategies. You will be working with a solutions approach, thinking outside of the box with product and service sets to create what the customer needs to support their business growth.

You must be able to demonstrate success selling mobile and fixed solutions. You will have experience in the technology industry selling to mid-market customers across a range of solutions. Importantly you will be independent, exceptionally hard working, customer obsessed and tenacious.

If you have experience of bid writing or tender submissions it would be advantageous.

I joined the team on what was initially a three-month placement after university, fast forward to the present day and I’m very much a permanent member of the marketing team.
