The role:

Working to increase Bamboo’s market share across the UK by acquiring new business you will be responsible for identifying and selling into new business opportunities. Aiming to move away from transactional business, you will be well equipped to change the conversation to supporting our customers long term digital and tech strategies. You will be working with a solutions approach, thinking outside the box with product and service sets to create what the customer needs to support their business growth.

Can you…
  • Uncover substantial mid-market to corporate level opportunities
  • Identify requirements for unified communications, IoT, fixed, mobile, cloud and hosting propositions
  • Consistently exceed monthly volume and revenue targets by creating a healthy mix of profitable pipeline through tactical and strategic opportunity generation
We need you to…
  • Have experience in the technology industry selling to mid-market customers across a range of solutions
  • Be able to demonstrate success selling mobile and fixed solutions,
  • Have experience in bid writing or tender submissions (advantageous)

I joined the team on what was initially a three-month placement after university, fast forward to the present day and I’m very much a permanent member of the marketing team. Through working at Bamboo I have been given a variety of opportunities, some not necessarily in my comfort zone, however that’s what’s great about everyone here - there is always a strong level of support from across the whole business.
